BEFORE YOU BOOK
Customer booking terms
These terms explain how customer bookings, payments, cancellations and changes are handled. Please read them before requesting or paying for a booking.
-
Customers must be aged 18 or over to make a booking or use the service.
• All customers must read the Essential Session Information and our Privacy Notice before booking.
• For group bookings, each participant must complete the required confirmation and follow Me Time’s instructions.
We may require participants to confirm again on the day that they are able and willing to proceed. A participant may decline without giving a reason, but this does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or extension where we attended and were ready to provide the service.

ME TIME DISCOVERY SESSION
A Me Time Discovery Session is a 20-minute customer session at the van’s current advertised location.
ME TIME TO YOU
Me Time to You is a 50-minute appointment for one participant at an agreed location. A location surcharge may apply.
Where more than one person at the same location wishes to book, each person requires a separate participant session unless a Me Time Gathering has been agreed.
ME TIME GATHERINGS
A Me Time Gathering is a group booking at one agreed location, charged according to the number of hours booked. The minimum booking period is two hours. Participants use the facility individually during the confirmed booking period, using the available 10-, 20- or 30-minute programmes.
Expected participant numbers and programme preferences will be discussed in advance. The booking does not guarantee that every intended participant will be able to complete a particular programme. The booking will end at the confirmed finishing time.
-
• Submitting a booking request does not create a confirmed booking.
• We may consider the requested location, travel distance, access, parking, timing, participant arrangements and safe operation before accepting a request.
• Prices shown on our website or promotional materials may change. The applicable service, price, duration, location and any additional charges will be those stated in our payment request, quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.
• A booking is confirmed only after we have received the payment required at that stage and sent a booking confirmation.
• A provisional booking is held only for the payment period stated in our message, normally 24 hours. If payment is not received, we may release the date or time. A payment link may remain technically active after the provisional booking has expired; payment does not reinstate an expired slot unless we confirm that it is still available.
-
Discovery Sessions, Me Time to You bookings and standard Me Time Gatherings require full payment before the booking is confirmed.
Where we agree that a requested booking can proceed, we will provide payment instructions and a payment deadline. Unless we state otherwise, payment must be received within 24 hours. We may hold the requested date and time during this period, but the booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and we have sent a booking confirmation. If payment is not received by the deadline, the requested date and time may be released without further notice.
For a bespoke or higher-value booking, we may agree a different payment arrangement, including a deposit and later balance. The amounts and payment deadlines will be stated in the quotation or invoice supplied before payment.
The customer is responsible for following the payment instructions, quoting any requested payment reference and checking that payment has been completed successfully. We will provide confirmation or a receipt after payment has been recorded.
-
DISCOVERY SESSIONS
Discovery Sessions are same-day bookings. Once paid, they are non-refundable and cannot ordinarily be moved to another date or time. This does not affect your statutory rights or your rights if we cancel or fail to provide the service.
ME TIME TO YOU
If you cancel:
• at least 48 hours before the confirmed start time, you will receive a full refund; or
• less than 48 hours before the confirmed start time, including on the day, the full booking price may be retained.
Non-attendance will be treated as a cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice.
You may request one change without charge by giving us at least 48 hours’ notice. The changed booking must take place within eight weeks of the original date and remains subject to availability.
ME TIME GATHERINGS
If you cancel:
• at least 14 days before the confirmed start time, you will receive a full refund;
• between 7 and 13 days before the confirmed start time, 30% of the booking price will be retained and the remaining 70% refunded; or
• less than 7 days before the confirmed start time, including on the day, the full booking price may be retained.
Non-attendance will be treated as a cancellation made with less than seven days’ notice.
You may request one change without charge by giving us at least seven days’ notice. The changed booking must take place within eight weeks of the original date and remains subject to availability.
Any amount retained will reflect the losses caused by the cancellation, taking account of any costs saved or replacement booking obtained.
Where a bespoke booking has an individually agreed cancellation or rescheduling arrangement, this will be stated in the quotation or invoice before payment.
-
We may need to change or cancel a booking because of illness, vehicle or equipment failure, unsafe conditions, severe weather, travel disruption, loss of the agreed location or another circumstance outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot provide the confirmed service, we will offer a reasonable alternative date or a refund for the part not provided. We are not responsible for other costs or losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the booking was made.
-
• The customer must provide complete and accurate location, access and parking information before the booking is confirmed.
• There must be a safe, legal and reasonably level place for the van to park, with enough clearance to operate and allow participants to enter and leave.
• The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from the landowner, venue, employer or parking operator.
• Any agreed parking charge, permit charge, toll or similar location cost is payable by the customer.
• Entry to the van requires participants to use a small number of steps. Participants must consider whether they can enter and leave safely, with any reasonable adjustment agreed with us in advance.
If the information supplied is inaccurate, permission is unavailable, or we cannot park or operate safely and legally, we may be unable to provide the service. This may be treated as a late customer cancellation where the problem was within the customer’s control.
-
Customers and participants should be ready at the confirmed time. The booking begins and ends at the agreed times. Late arrival, unavailable participants, incomplete forms, delays at the location or longer-than-planned changeovers will not normally extend the booking or reduce the price.
For Gatherings, the organiser must help us maintain an orderly participant schedule. We will manage programme allocation and changeovers. Any extension is entirely at our discretion, is not part of the original booking and may be subject to an additional charge agreed before the extension is provided.
-
We may refuse entry, stop a session or require a person to leave where reasonably necessary for safety, welfare, lawful operation or the protection of people or property. This includes where a person:
• cannot or will not provide the required participant confirmation;
• appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
• is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate or persistently disruptive;
• smokes or vapes, brings alcohol or food into the facility, or refuses to follow reasonable instructions;
• brings an animal into the facility without prior agreement;
• uses the facility or equipment in an unsafe or damaging way;
• attempts to add their own oils, fragrances or other substances to our aromatherapy equipment; or
• does not follow the rule that only one participant may use the facility at a time.
No refund is due where the service is refused or ended because of the participant’s conduct or failure to meet these requirements, except where the law requires otherwise.
No animals are permitted in the facility. If you require an assistance animal, contact us before booking so that we can discuss a reasonable and safe arrangement given the limited space.
-
Participants are responsible for their own belongings. We are not responsible for loss or damage unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
The customer is responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing Me Time property damaged deliberately or through a participant’s failure to follow instructions or take reasonable care. We will provide reasonable evidence of any amount claimed. Fair wear and tear is not chargeable.
-
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information, a participant’s decision to proceed despite the Essential Session Information, failure to follow instructions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except to the extent that we are legally responsible.
-
We use personal information to manage enquiries, bookings, payments, participant confirmations and communications. Further information is provided in our Privacy Notice.
Marketing messages are sent only where we have an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, consent. Marketing choices do not affect a booking and may be changed at any time.
-
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term does not waive our right to enforce it later.
We may update these terms for future bookings. The version supplied or made available when your booking is confirmed will apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Customers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to them under applicable law.

Questions about a booking or these terms may be sent to ukteam.metime@gmail.com.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
